Technology, especially financial technology (fintech), is now growing with tremendous results.
The presence of fintech becomes one of the strategic elements to realize inclusive finance, and at
the same time can create equitable development for the poor and vulnerable unable to access
formal financial services. On the other hand, tourism is one of the industrial sectors in Indonesia
that is potential to be developed. Fintech synergized with the tourism sector has the potential to
encourage the quality of Indonesian tourism by providing easy access to transactions. With
fintech, innovations in payment methods can be developed, allowing tourists to get easier and
more comfortable with their tours. This in turn can increase the attractiveness of tourism to
Indonesia. This paper aims to analyze more deeply about the SWOT implementation of fintech
to the quality of service in the Indonesian tourism industry through literature study. |
